Dedicate medical camps and essential food supplies to ease the lives of thousands
The devastating flash flood in Bangladesh's north and the north-eastern region has left millions of people in need of shelter, food, and healthcare. As a responsible corporate citizen, Grameenphone has been facilitating flood-affected communities in partnership with the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) to help fight the ordeal through relief and rehabilitation efforts.
Grameenphone took a timely initiative in the fight against the coronavirus. It supplied 50,000 sets of professional-grade medical PPE to 12 hospitals, listed under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). This was done during the initial stages of the pandemic when the medical frontline workers had little to no protection whilst saving lives.
At the initial stages of the lockdown, daily-wage-earners have suffered significantly as their means of income depended on regular work.

Without VoLTE, your phone must drop back to 2G and 3G during voice calls. VoLTE allows users to stay on the 4G network during voice calls and can continue to have un-interrupted high-speed 4G internet experience.
