Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB), in collaboration with Futurenation and Grameenphone, officially launched the ‘Business & Social English’ course at Dhaka Mohila Polytechnic Institute.
This course aims to strengthen professional communication skills, linguistic proficiency, and employability among TVET students, enabling them to thrive in competitive job markets.
The program was inaugurated by Engr. Md. Ruhul Amin, Chairman of BTEB, as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests included Mr. Tanvir Mohammad, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Grameenphone; Mr. Sardar M. Asaduzzaman, Assistant Resident Representative, UNDP Bangladesh; and Ms. Sharmin Islam, Gender Analyst, UNDP Bangladesh. The event was chaired by Mr. Md. Khorshed Alam, Principal, Dhaka Mohila Polytechnic Institute.
Prioritizing female students and youth, this initiative will align Bangladesh’s technical workforce with global standards, playing a pivotal role in building a future-ready, skilled workforce for the country’s industry-driven economy.
