Dhaka, September 03, 2025: Grameenphone has announced the launch of FutureMakers, its first-ever nationwide idea competition designed to empower university students to showcase their creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The initiative aims to inspire young minds to design impactful solutions to real-world challenges, demonstrating how technology can shape a better future.
Open to all university students across the country, FutureMakers positions Grameenphone as a future-ready employer committed to celebrating innovation, empowering youth, and strengthening university connections.

Speaking about the initiative, Sayeda Tahya Hossain, Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) of Grameenphone, said “Through FutureMakers, we are creating a platform that encourages the youth to push the boundaries of innovation using AI. Winners of the competition will receive prize money along with an accelerated pathway to Grameenphone’s prestigious flagship programs.
The competition will be hosted across multiple venues, both within universities and at Grameenphone facilities, with the final event scheduled to conclude by the first week of November.
