We are delighted to announce the official launch of The AI Mission, a transformative initiative by Grameenphone Academy aimed at equipping 10,000 young individuals across Bangladesh with essential skills in Artificial Intelligence over the next six months.
The program was inaugurated by Mr. Tanveer Mohammad, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Grameenphone, in the presence of a full house at GP House. Members of the Corporate Affairs Management Team also joined the occasion, lending their enthusiastic support to this forward-looking mission.
The launch event witnessed an overwhelming response, with nearly 900 students registering to participate. Due to space limitations, we were able to accommodate 430 participants, with many opting for staircase and floor seating—an inspiring testament to the eagerness of our youth to embrace the future of technology.
A key highlight of the day was an insightful masterclass led by Quazi Tafsirul Islam, AI enthusiast and Senior Lecturer at North South University, who also serves as the instructor for the program’s first course, “Career with AI.”
The energy and enthusiasm displayed by the participants underscored the growing interest among young learners to explore AI and its career possibilities. We are pleased to share that the “Career with AI” course is now live and accessible at www.grameenphone.academy.
