The Corporate Affairs team recently participated in an insightful and forward looking Microsoft Copilot training session, organized by Grameenphone Academy in collaboration with NetCom Learning. Designed to strengthen digital fluency and unlock new productivity possibilities, the session served as a powerful introduction to the next era of AI enabled work.
The program began with encouraging opening remarks from Tanveer Mohammad and Farhana Islam, who highlighted the importance of embracing AI tools to accelerate workflows, enhance decision making, and support our ambition to work smarter and faster. Their message set the tone for a session centered on innovation, curiosity, and hands on learning.
Following the inauguration, Md. Imdadul Islam led the workshop with an engaging, practical approach. Rather than relying on traditional step by step demos, he showcased Copilotâs capabilities through real examples that resonated with the team's daily work. Participants witnessed how Copilot can instantly transform lengthy documents into clear, concise summaries, effortlessly organize complex Excel datasets, and streamline routine content creation.
One of the most exciting parts of the session was the introduction to AI Agent creationâa feature that allows teams to build customized assistants tailored to specific tasks and processes. This sparked conversations on how these agents could support reporting, research, data analysis, stakeholder communication, and other Corporate Affairs responsibilities.
By the end of the session, the room was filled with enthusiasm and new ideas. Team members actively experimented with prompts, explored features, and discussed practical ways to integrate Copilot into their workflows. The atmosphere reflected a shared realization: Copilot is not just a toolâitâs a strategic collaborator that can elevate productivity, creativity, and efficiency across the organization.
The training marked an important milestone in strengthening digital readiness within Corporate Affairs and reinforced our commitment to staying ahead in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
